[wink] Cornice

Here’s Cornice who had been in her box for quite a long time. *grin* I think she was probably in box for a few months or so… at least until I had gotten Taeyang.

When I had received Cornice, I had simply stared at her cos she was so lovely. I didn’t have the time or inspiration to take her out of the box, but her face and colouring had been exquisite.

I had bought Cornice because of her outfit. I still need to create Ink’s sibling and because Principessa was nowhere to be found, I thought Cornice might do, since she had the more ideal outfit compared to Principessa.

What I had not expected was for Cornice to be so tan. While I could pass her off as Ink’s sibling, her expression didn’t fit. Cornice just doesn’t look as mischeivous as Principessa does, and Cornice’s faceup is so exquisite and well done that I cannot bear to remove it. T_T So right now, good doll, great outfit but wrong skin tone and expression for the character I need the doll for. T_T

Ah well. I’m sure Ink will have her sister one day… ^_^;;

Cornice also has multiple piercings on her. Better done than the piercing on the old Noir–no messy glue ruining the look… ^_^;

Oh, and to note, her body seems an improvement over the ‘soft’ bodies used by the second wave of Pullip changes. I’ve not been keeping up with Pullip news, but from what I can see, the change is for the better.
