[flatboys] Kefin: balded
Okay, the damn Bratz head is harder to make bald then I had thought. Damn it. And there _is_ a method of removing the head so that you don't cause any damage to the neck harpoon. *_* Hahaha. I'm too lazy to remember what I'd read, so I'll just happily forget I found out about that for now.
Now, the hair... First, the tools:

I was using this method. The only problem is, the damn Bratz hair plugs are _glued_ inside. Hell. Especially around the edges of the head and the parting. -_- I had a hard time removing the hair, and looked around to see what would help. A site suggested dribbling acetone inside the head to soften the glue. So I grabbed my toner and dribbled it in. But the toner spilled into my hand and I panicked and washed my hands and ended up wetting Kefin's face. *_* The paint didn't run, luckily. But the paint did get smudged from my attempts at removing the plugs in his head. >_< I'll redo his eyebrows and horns once I get his new hair rooted, I guess.
But anyways, so I _did_ manage to remove all the plugs in his hair. The toner did soften the glue enough for me to work at it. ^_^ I will be attempting this rooting method once I can find a needle long enough.
Here's Kefin with his hair cut out. This was the easiest thing to do:

The plugs hardest to remove because of the glue:

Here's the centre parting. O_o It looks like some damn bug. -_- Ew.

So ya, I will be buying a long needle soon and will try my hand at rerooting. Hopefully I don't make a mess of it. Hohohoho.
