[wink] Isyak

Lookit who's with Razkil! *grin* Yay~! We finally got the Namu Serpent~ ^__^ And his name is Isyak. ^_^

Razkil looks so strange next to Isyak. O_o I didn't get to take many pictures of Isyak when I got him on Saturday... but I took some pics of him in and out of his box on Sunday. ^_^ He scares the hell out of me when he looks sideways cos there's soo much white showing in his eyes. *_* He reminds me of Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter--utterly insane and he knows and enjoys it. I loooooove him sooo much! *pours hearts all over Isyak*

There's a story behind his name. Originally, he had made me think of the dark night sky with a sprinkle of stars on it. I couldn't think of the adjective that described this image in my head. And the best word I could come up with was Dusk. ^_^; I kinda liked it because it had a rather sensuous connotation to it.

But then, talking to my friend Lisa Dragon and Phoenixlancer about his name... Phoenixlancer said that the word dusk made him think of Maghrib. And I love the sound of that word. And another word that came up was Ishak (with a silent k). Incidentally, both are what the dusk prayer and evening prayer are called. *grin* After pondering for a few moments, Serpent was named Isyak--with a hard K. ^_^

*laughs* The poor guy is too tall for it. *grin* Luckily for him, his ankles didn't get all warped by the twisties.

He has a charm to him, you gotta admit. ^_~

There isn't much to say about him since I've said all I wanted to say about the Namu body when I first got Keep.

Wait, I change my mind. I have things to add. While the Namu body was really nice and stiff...the damn legs loosen easily and I have no idea how to tighten them. The knees are still creaky stiff, which is good, but the legs. OMG. You hold Keep up and his legs swing back and forth like he's a puppet. Hell. -_- Not good. It means it's hard to pose him and have him hold his pose and stand upright as well. Very very not good. -_-

Isyak had the swingy legs too. T_T I am so sad. T_T The Pullip stand is a very good accessory though. *sigh* But so what? -_-

One thing about the Namu body...no matter how much I like it, it always gives me the impression that it's cheap. -_- I dont know. Maybe I'm used to Volks' Super Dollfie resin. But when I look at the Namu bodies, I feel as if all my money went to the big head of the dolls. ^_^;; This is further helped by the fact that because of the new bodies the females come with, which I dont like, I'll essentially be buying future dolls for their heads only--not that I wanted their bodies anyway--but in some cases, I do need the hard female bodies. -_- Before I buy Principessa when the time comes, I will have to make sure I have a body for her that is the right skin tone. -_-

Bah. We'll worry about this when the time comes, I guess.
