[wink] Akushla and wigs

Okay, so the blue hair on Street turned out to be a shade I don't like at all. I swear, in pictures, the color always looks so much deeper. T_T So anyways, I grabbed Razkil's wigs and tried them on to see what color is suitable for Akushla.

Oh yes, I come across a big problem. I put that red wig on Akushla's head, and I started calling him Tangled. Crap. -_- In a way, if he hadn't become Akushla, who is Isyak and Ink's brother, I think Street would have become a very unnecessary buy. Hahaha. Hell. The only redeeming factor right now is his yellow eyes and his sometimes passable blue of a hair. *sigh*

Anyways, we'll make do with the best we can, and I'm trying very hard to stop thinking Akushla is really just another look Tangled has. -_- As it is, from now on, the red wig will only be worn by Tangled. -_- And Akushla might be stuck with those yellow eyes permanently just so we remember he's not our chameleon Tangled. -_-

It's only with these Pullips that I realise, yes, I don't need so many at all. Especially since I don't really have time to spend on them other than the occasional photos and bursts of inspirations. Excuse me while I go pound my head against the keyboard because I do have a couple more to buy since I can't let go of wanting to make my Quaint and Spider. *sigh*

In reality, Akushla and Tangled could have been the same doll. Keep and Quaint as well. *cries* I swear, next time, if I buy something just for the heck of it, I'm gonna have my fun customising and take the pics I want. And then I'm gonna try to sell it--if anyone would want it. Really. I will. *nodsnods* Really.

Anyways, the pics...

Though I guess, Street is still a pretty good buy. The eyes are perfect. I like bright shiny eyes that are a striking color. I will go buy me some eyechips and make sure Tangled, Keep and Isyak have bright shiny shiny eyes. Oh yes. *_* Isyak will be a lot more striking if he had shiny sparkly silver eyes. *grin*

This is the blue I like. I might go ahead and cut another blue wig so it's shorter and a bit more shaggy. And if the haircut is a success, it'll probably be Akushla's default wig.

Orange is a pretty nice and striking color on him. *laughs*

I have a problem with Akushla's lip color. -_- When I had first looked at him, I'd thought: it's all right, I can live with it. But now, I really want to change it. -_- The dark purple doesn't make me happy, and it doesn't look good with most of the wigs he's been trying on. It could be just my imagination...but well, I don't like it anyway. -_- So I'll repaint. But I'll need to think about what dark shade it should be.

I don't like black hair at all, despite how often it seems to suit my boys. *laughs* I'd rather go for maroon any day. But the color does suit Akushla well. ^_^ It's a wig I'm gonna sell though. And I definitely won't miss it. *grin*

After all this, I still don't know what hair color I prefer on Akushla. -_- I think I'm only sticking with blue because he's a Street and Street should have blue hair, cos hell, that's what we bought it for. *falls over*

A shallow reason to buy a doll always ends in a dilemma. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after having bought Keep. Hahaha. Stupid me. *sigh*

I'm sure after we've got Tangled fixed up on his body, and I put him next to Akushla, I'll appreciate both dolls individually. If not, one will go. Really. I'll forsake the storyline and sell one of them if I find I can't differentiate between the two in my mind.

I looove the yellow eyes! You only seem to buy the dolls I like! ^_^ I was considering getting a Pullip and was hesitating between Nomado, Principessa and Street. I prefer Street's eyes, hair & lips (though your comments make me more reticent) but I really like Nomado's general appearance and clothes. Principessa just looks theatrical and is appealing in that way.
BTW, did you try removing the yellow eyeshadow with sandpaper? That's what I used on Serpent. T'was first to remove some paint, then to give his skin a velvety appearance. It worked fine! ^_^
Though yellow is a very staining color... maybe you'll have to use pastels and cover the yellow sections if you want them to disappear.

Ergh. -_- I was too lazy to go to the extent of finding sandpaper. Haha. I'll probably get to it, if I ever repaint those eyebrows and those lips.

I don't want Nomado--only her pants and boots. ^_~ She's too dark for my tastes. Hohoho. Principessa's outfit isn't very to my taste either, but her makeup is very good. ^o^

I find Principessa's overly cute (and blue) outfit a bit scary... Same thing with her hairdo. She has to be nuts to go around like that... which could be enough for her to be worthy of our family ^_^

I don't think I'll be bying any other Pullips, though. The new Namu Kung Fu master (Fei, I think?) is tempting (I love his gold vest ^_^) but doesn't move me like my lil' Serpent did when I saw him the first time *hearts*.

Anyway, I have such a long Volks wish list! I should save my money: so many of people need bodies! ^_~

I'm thinking that I'll put Principessa on a Namu body. -_- The more I see Tangled on the Go Guy body, the more I like it. *falls over*

For me, it was also Serpent who was the first Namu (and probably the only one) who had looked perfect. Haha. All the others just don't have his appeal. -_- I was looking at the old pics of Keep before I redid his eyebrows and man...he was so damn ugly. *falls over* It wasn't hard to see why I'd disliked him so much. Haha. *_* Now, he's like one of my favourites. ^__^

He's really cool, too. I love the red eye ^_^
