[street/wink] Khalid's dreams

Khalid likes his dreams. Every night, before he closes his eyes, he knows just who he will see in his dreams.

He knows, in his dream, he will wake up and everything will be blue. Blue, with a bit of white and yellow, but mostly blue.

In his dreams, there are strange animals. But most of the time, there are giants.

Khalid isn't afraid of the giants. Those he tells his dreams to always ask him why he isn't afraid. But Khalid usually just shrugs and says that when you've seen them so often, you often forget to be scared.

He doesn't think they will understand.

The giants are his friends.

He tells them everything and they listen. And they tell him things too, things he then listens to.

Khalid knows two giants best. He calls one Small Giant. And the other Big Giant.

Big Giant usually comes by after Khalid has spoken to Small Giant. Khalid likes Big Giant.

It's always hard to try to explain to his friends who can't be in his dreams why he likes his giants. Once, someone tried to tell him that his dreams were a sign that he needed real friends. But Khalid doesn't think so.

Real people can't be like his giants.

Sometimes Big Giant picks him up like he's a toy. He doesn't mind.

Big Giant also calls him 'Little One'. But he's okay with that. It's a nickname you can allow a friend to use.

Khalid likes to dream. He knows, if the giants go away, he'll miss them badly.

They are his friends.

Not a lot of people can say that they have friends who look for them every night because they want to be with them.

But Khalid can.

And he wants to keep dreaming so that he always can.
